Doggie Sitting

So over the weekend, I was asked to dog-sit for a lady up in Boulder City, which is about 20 miles away. This is the town where Hoover Dam as well as Lake Mead are located. Let me just say, the view from her condo was BEAUTIFUL! I offered to have her dogs stay at my home, but when I found out she had a Weimaraner and a Lab mix, my offer was recanted. Then, I found out she had 4 Weimaraners and the Lab. Oh Me!
I'm new to the whole 'large dog' thing, and found that they can really do some funny looking things. You can tell, they really missed their mommy. When she arrived back at home, I HAD to ask why she needed a sitter for such well behaved dogs- then she showed me her car- it was TORN to pieces, brown duct tape held together what was left of her seats and headrests. Oh My!

When dinner time came around, she told me she fed a raw diet, as she pulls a big bag out of the fridge. She pulls out a chicken leg quarter, cuts of the drumstick and gives it to a dog, cuts the thigh in half and gives it to 2 others. She told me the bones are good for their teeth. =D

  2. Its like you read my mind! You appear to know so
much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something.

I think that you could do with a few pics to drive the message home a
little bit, but instead of that, this is excellent blog.
An excellent read. I will certainly be back.
