Lucky 13

13 ANIMALS!!
I picked up the litter of 9 and their Mama this afternoon. I was so excited that I could barely sleep last night, and had the worst tummy-ache through the afternoon. They are absolutely precious, and I believe that some may even belly weaned. They range from about 1lb 2oz to 1lb 12oz, and are estimated to be about 6-8 weeks old. Mama and one kitten had an ear mite, but were all treated and otherwise seem very healthy.

Since there really doesn't seem to be enough room in the cat playpen cage, I decided to put Mama and the smaller kittens in the large crate, and the bigger kittens in the playpen. All seems well. Frank and Sammy aren't completely freaking out, and that's always a plus.
